WEDNESDAYS

U3a Current Affairs.png

U3a Current Affairs

Alternate Wednesdays  10:00am to 12:00 noon

A feisty fortnightly meeting over two hours, where issues of the day get thrashed out between people with strong views.  The environment is friendly and polite and you will inevitably have your views challenged.

The issues for discussion typically present themselves from the news but it is not uncommon for a member of the group to start off the discussion in an unexpected direction or lead it somewhere surprising.  You don’t need to be any sort of an expert, just someone interested in what is going on in the world today.
