Early in 2007 The Darby & Joan was awarded a grant of £10,000 from the National Lottery's Awards for All Grant Fund Scheme to pay for a Boundary fence to be erected around the Club.
Unfortunately during the floods the fence was damaged as the flood water washed debris against the fence and washed away some of the concrete footings, we are now waiting for the fence to be repaired but the fence is not part of the insurance on the building so we are raising funds to enable this to go ahead.

South Yorkshire Community Foundation have also awarded the club over £4,000 to enable us to upgrade the heating system and install electronic window shutters to the building .
